All of our Grade 3 students and teachers participated in our inaugural 3rd Grade Daffodil Planting this afternoon. This new SAE tradition is building off the former practice of the grade level planting a bush at the end of the year. Now students get to individually participate in the plantings and will see it in bloom as they close their final chapter at SAE. The bulbs were planted along the front entry way with plans to continue down the fence line, year after year. We had bulbs donated from Green Spot that will proliferate so we should have plush blossoming walkways every Spring. We are excited to watch them grow, just like our SAE students! Thank you PTO and Green Spot for supporting this initiative!

A huge thank you to THE ONE Roast Beef & Pizzeria + Cape Flats Pizza for donating to our PTO's Tuesday Lunch for Teachers during Parent-Teacher Conferences! These 2 local businesses generously donated delicious pizzas, salad, pitas, & mozzarella sticks that kept our teachers satiated during a long day of conferences. Furthermore, PTO purchased a wonderful lunch on Thursday for teachers as well. We are very spoiled this year! They are amazing!!

Dear SAE families,
Hope you are enjoying reading new books from our school library. Please help remind your child to keep their library books in their backpack everyday. You can identify our school books by the barcode sticker on the back cover. This will help us to have more books for all students to read throughout the year. Happy reading!
Warmly, Ms. T

As a friendly reminder, we do not allow Halloween costumes, parties, etc. during the school day. We encourage students and their families who celebrate to attend local community events and observe it over the weekend, but during the school day, we need to remain focused on instruction.
Thanks for your cooperation and understanding!

Please help our Parent Car Line run safely and smoothly at drop-off + pick-up!
Parents dropping off students by car should pull into the lot at the side of our building in a single line. Parents, please pull all the way up and do not leave your vehicles.
Children should exit onto the sidewalk on the passenger side of the car.
Thank you for helping to keep our students safe!
