Message of Gratitude

Dear Families,

It is with sincere gratitude that we thank you for all of your support at Station Avenue. We recognize the pressure of repeated fundraiser for the playground in recent years. We also recognize how generous you have been with both fundraisers and with school initiatives like this food drive. We are so fortunate to model for our children what we can accomplish when we band together. Both the playground and today's assembly are beautiful examples of the Power of One.

There is so much to be thankful for at Station Avenue this year. Thank you all for your endless support. We wish you all a fantastic Thanksgiving Break with your families. We will see you in December!

The PTO has outdone themselves again. Thank you so very much for your incredible food donation. And for everything you are doing to support Station Avenue. There is a lot of time, thought, planning, and generosity with all you have done on behalf of the school this year. We are so fortunate to have you!

Cape Cod Community Pantry

Members from the Cape Cod Community Pantry joined our Assembly this morning. They work tirelessly to support our community. They brought a huge box truck to collect the incredible collection of food donations. Thank you!

Report Cards are Arriving Digitally in December

SAE Report Cards will be sent digitally this year!

We will be emailing student report cards to families based upon the most up to date information that we have in PowerSchool.

Please ensure your contact info & Student Verification Forms are updated so that we are able to easily provide you with your student's report card.

A Note from the SAE Nurse's Office

Hello SAE Families,

On December 1 + 2, Polished Teeth dental services will be at SAE for their first scheduled visit this school year. All of the students who have been signed up will be seen for a dental cleaning.

As our weather keeps changing, please dress your child according to the weather. A coat, gloves, mittens and hat are welcome on a chilly playground. Also, please remember to put a change of clothes in your student’s backpack. Accidents do happen. Children are always more

comfortable in their own clothing. Please put your child’s name in their coats, sweatshirts and

clothing. If lost, this will help in a speedy return. We have a growing Lost and Found.

On another note, if your student is scheduled to have a new physical and/or immunizations,

please make sure to have a copy sent to the clinic either by fax, or your student can bring a

copy to school. The school’s fax number is (508) 760-5601.

This Thanksgiving break is a good time to go outside and enjoy some fresh air and exercise.

Exercise elevates your mood, especially this time of year when we spend so much time indoors and it tends to be darker longer. This is important to stay healthy both in mind and body.

A Note from the SAE Library

Dear SAE families,

Hope you are enjoying reading new books from our school library. Please help remind your child to keep their library books in their backpack everyday. You can identify our school books by the barcode sticker on the back cover. This will help us to have more books for all students to read throughout the year. Happy reading!

Our PTO has a goal to raise $500 in Box Tops this year and would love your help!

Free Youth Physicals from Convenient MD

Convenient MD is providing FREE youth physicals for K-12 and undergraduate students at all locations.

The 2 locations closest to us are 40 Davis Straits, Falmouth, MA 02540 and 140 Samoset Street (suite 2), Plymouth, MA 02360. You must bring a printed voucher with you to receive a free physical. To have a voucher sent home with your child, please email Libby Spencer (spencere@dy-regional.k12.ma.us). This offer expires 12/31/2025.

Cat Video Fest at Chatham Orpheum Theater

Cat Video Fest is happening on Friday 11/28 + Saturday 11/29 at the Chatham Orpheum Theater (637 Main Street, Chatham). The fun begins at 9:30AM on both days - you can buy tickets via their website: https://chathamorpheum.org/
