12/11/2025: The 67th Day of School

6-7 (pronounced "six seven"; also written as 67, 6 7, and 6, 7) is an Internet meme and slang term that emerged in 2025 on TikTok, Instagram Reels, and then later spread to YouTube Shorts. It has no fixed meaning, but our students LOVE IT and we hear it all day long!

Our 3rd Grade Teachers absolutely crushed the 67th day of school with their 6-7 shirts!

SAE Family Holiday Card Wall

If your family would like to share this year's holiday card for our Family Holiday Card Wall, please send it to the Main Office with your child. We are looking forward to seeing your smiling faces!

Winter Clothing Reminder - Bundle Up!

Our students have recess outdoors if the "real feel" temp is 20 degrees or higher - warm winter clothing is a must! Please clearly label your children's winter clothing with their name, to help avoid losing or missing items. Thank you!

Report Cards are Arriving Digitally in December

SAE Report Cards will be sent digitally on December 17

We will be emailing student report cards to families based upon the information that we have in PowerSchool. You will also be able to access the information via the PowerSchool portal.

Please ensure your contact info & Student Verification Forms are updated, so that we are able to easily provide you with your student's report card.

Please note that Kindergarten students do not receive Term 1 grades for Related Arts classes.

SAE PTO - Fudge Fundraiser

The SAE PTO is hosting a Fudge Fundraiser with Stage Stop Candy! Order forms will be sent home with students on Friday December 12 - please look for them in your child's backpacks.

Payment + order forms are due to classroom teachers or the main office by January 23.

Our PTO has a goal to raise $500 in Box Tops this year and would love your help!

It is super simple for families to enroll:

A Note from the SAE Library

Dear SAE families,

Hope you are enjoying reading new books from our school library. Please help remind your child to keep their library books in their backpack everyday. You can identify our school books by the barcode sticker on the back cover. This will help us to have more books for all students to read throughout the year. Happy reading!

Free Youth Physicals from Convenient MD

Convenient MD is providing FREE youth physicals for K-12 and undergraduate students at all locations.

The 2 locations closest to us are 40 Davis Straits, Falmouth, MA 02540 and 140 Samoset Street (suite 2), Plymouth, MA 02360. You must bring a printed voucher with you to receive a free physical. To have a voucher sent home with your child, please email Libby Spencer (spencere@dy-regional.k12.ma.us). This offer expires 12/31/2025.
