Our Kindergarten classes had a blast on their first field trip: attending a play at the Harwich Junior Theater!
Students viewed a performance of Click, Clack, Moo: Cows That Type, based on the book by Doreen Cronin. All school performances at HJT are followed by a talk-back with the director, actors and students, which provided the opportunity for SAE Kindergarteners to ask questions and learn more about the production. Transportation and tickets for this field trip were funded through a generous grant from

Please help our Parent Car Line run safely and smoothly at drop-off + pick-up!
Parents dropping off students by car should pull into the lot at the side of our building in a single line.
Parents, please pull all the way up and do not leave your vehicles.
Children should exit onto the sidewalk on the passenger side of the car.
Thank you for helping to keep our students safe!

Thank you for your help!
Happy reading,
Ms. T

Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod has announced that applications are now available, with a deadline of Tuesday, March 31, 2026, for one three-bedroom home at 26 Horne Avenue in Pocasset (Bourne) , two homes (one two-bedroom and one three-bedroom) on Mackie Drive (at 3571 Main Street) in Brewster, and four homes (all three-bedroom) at 805 Gifford Street Extension in Falmouth. The homes will be a mixture of ranch and Cape styles.
The maximum household income for the houses is 60% of the area median income for Pocasset (Bourne), one home in Brewster, and two homes in Falmouth, and 80% for one home in Brewster and two homes in Falmouth. For a four-person household, the current maximum income at 60% is $80,100; at 80%, it is $106,800. These income guidelines are adjusted annually.
The applicant household must be willing to commit 250-500 hours of sweat equity to build the home and have a housing need. The monthly housing payment (mortgage, taxes, insurance, homeowners association) for these homes is estimated to be around $1,562 - $2,071, depending on the cost of taxes, insurance, changing interest rates, and other terms.
The deadline for application submission to the Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod office is 3/31/26. More information about applying for a Habitat Cape Cod home is available at https://habitatcapecod.org/.

The Young Mariner Program is a full-day, Monday–Friday on-the-water summer camp for students entering grades 4 - 7. Campers explore Cape Cod’s marine environment through hands-on, STEM-based activities both on the water and in our museum classroom. Activities include fishing, lobstering, beachcombing, marine science experiments, and learning about local ecosystems and maritime careers.
The program is designed to increase access to maritime education for Cape Cod youth, and we are proud to offer full and partial scholarships to families who may need financial assistance. The goal is to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participating in this experience.
