Third Grade Send Off!

This week celebrated our rising 4th graders with a dance party, a clap out, and a Moving Up Ceremony. We are so proud of all they have accomplished in their chapters at Station Avenue. We know this crew will make us proud as they head to DYI next year!

Whale of a Day!

On Tuesday, the Provincetown-based Center for Coastal Studies visited our students for an unforgettable marine education experience. The highlight was a life-sized Right Whale! During 30-minute interactive sessions, the students were buzzing with energy as they learned all about whale habitats, diets, and daily lives. [1, 2, 3]

Ice Cream Social

Thank you again to our fabulous PTO for another amazing Ice Cream Social on 6/18. We had DJ Patrick playing tunes on the new playground with bubble machines. In the cafe we had teachers scooping ice cream and PTO raffling off prizes. It was a well attended event full of smiles! Thank you!!

Summer Success Fair!

This week, we were thrilled to host our Summer Success Fair, organized by our Literacy Coach, Lisa Kucia, and Math Coach, Kendra Johnson. It was an honor to have MTA President Max Page and Rockland Trust Vice President Andrea Breen join us for the event.

Our students went home well-prepared for summer, thanks to several generous contributions. Every student received:
  • A free book via the Mass Child Book Grant.
  • A 'For the Love of Books' reading journal for the Rockland Trust 'Reading Makes Cents' program.
  • Summer reading resources from Yarmouth Town Libraries and Barnes & Noble.
  • A math packet provided by Dr. Johnson.

Thank you to everyone who made this event such a success!

DYRSD Bus Transportation Request for the 2026–2027 School Year

Dear Dolphin Families,
The district has a new transportation request process for the 2026–2027 school year. Families must fill out a transportation form for each student to let us know if bus service is needed for next school year.
To make sure transportation is ready for the first day of school in September, forms must be turned in by June 25.
Forms turned in after June 25 may not be processed before school starts. Returning students who do not submit a form by the deadline will not automatically receive bus transportation. Families will need to submit a late request, which could cause a delay in service.
If you have any questions or need any assistance please reach out to your child's school.
Thank you for your attention to this important deadline. link

Young Mariner Program

Cape Cod Maritime Museum - Young Mariner Program

The Young Mariner Program is a full-day, Monday–Friday on-the-water summer camp for students entering grades 4 - 7. Campers explore Cape Cod’s marine environment through hands-on, STEM-based activities both on the water and in our museum classroom. Activities include fishing, lobstering, beachcombing, marine science experiments, and learning about local ecosystems and maritime careers.

The program is designed to increase access to maritime education for Cape Cod youth, and we are proud to offer full and partial scholarships to families who may need financial assistance. The goal is to ensure that cost is not a barrier to participating in this experience.
